Principal Psychologist – adult inpatient

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Principal Psychologist to work within an adult inpatients service in South Lancashire who have an overall CQC rating of “Good.”

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT who work across rehabilitation and secure wards for adult service users who present with complex mental health and/or personality disorder.

The post holder will work autonomously holding a caseload conducting assessments, formulation and therapy (both 121 and group based), along with supervising staff.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – 22.5 hours per week

Salary – £64,750 FTE

Experience required:

Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and extensive experience working complex clients alongside formal training in clinical supervision.
