Psychologist – inpatients

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Practitioner Psychologist to work within an adult inpatients services in South Hertfordshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining a well-established MDT, including Psychologists, working with adult service users across acute inpatient wards in a hospital environment. The caseload will include working across their new pathway for young adults presenting with complex trauma.

The post holder will provide psychological assessments and interventions (formulation driven and trauma informed model of care)

Contract type – permanent

Hours – both part time and full time will be considered

Salary – up to £53,000 FTE

Experience required:

Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and experience working with complex mental health with a trauma informed approach. Those with inpatient experience will be at an advantage.
