Therapist – CYP Trauma

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Therapist to work within a specialist YP developmental trauma service in Berkshire.

Company snapshot- This well-established reputable company who provide a specialist therapeutic service to young people who present with developmental trauma, attachment difficulties and who have displayed sexually harmful behaviour within residential homes and CMHT services across Berkshire.

Role snapshot – The candidate appointed will be providing therapy as part of a well-established residential therapy team, which include residential staff, Art Therapy and Psychotherapy.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – part time

Salary – up to £35k FTE

Experience required- Registered Counsellor or Psychotherapist and experience working with young people who present with a traumatic background will be considered. Those with a forensic background are encouraged to apply and those who have specific experience working with sexual abuse and sexual behaviour will be at an advantage.
