EMDR Therapist – addictions

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an EMDR Therapist to work within an adult addictions service in South West London with an overall CQC rating of “Good.”

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working with adult service users with addictions in a rehab facility providing therapy in both 121 and group settings. The therapist will deliver trauma-focused therapy using EMDR as the main modality integrated with other approaches such as CBT, Psychodynamic or person-centred.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – part time 15 hours per week

Salary – £40,000FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will be a fully qualified integrative Psychotherapist with post qualifying experience working with acute adult mental health, with specialised training and certification in EMDR therapy. Experience in delivering integrative trauma-focused therapy, combining EMDR with other therapeutic modalities, is essential. Accreditation is mandatory for this role.
